Vanessa Scott

Vanessa has been teaching for 22 years, and experiences each class as a collaborative, co-creative journey on the mat. Combining flow with slower intentional work, she aims to progressively awaken deeper resources of strength, stability, and freedom in the body through self-empowering alignment and mindfulness.

Vanessa began her dedicated practice in the Iyengar community in San Franciso, receiving a 500 hour certification from the Iyengar Yoga Institute. She became a E-RYT 500 with the Yoga Alliance, and then a Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor in 2013. She integrates these and other wisdom sources, and continues to be inspired by great teachers. Her love of the practice if infectious, and it is her delight to share it!
