SUMMARY
Rasa's 200 hour teacher training and study course is designed to immerse you in the fundamental and transformational art of teaching yoga. This course will offer you the practical tools to step into your place as a teacher with knowledge, inspiration, integrity and clarity. Students will graduate with an understanding of the history and philosophy of classical yoga; fundamental principles for effective teaching all levels and abilities of students; a solid understanding of anatomy and its application to the yoga practice; a comprehensive guide to the subtle energetic body through the lens of Ayurveda and Eastern medicine; as well as a look at the business of being a yoga teacher.
After completing this certified course, Rasa also offers its graduates a channel to explore more focused paths, such as immersions and mentorship programs that will further reveal and develop each individual's authentic expression, passion and skill. We at Rasa look forward to being part of this life affirming journey.
MODULES
There are 3 modules required to graduate from the 200-hour course. We offer Module I - Foundations of Teaching twice a year (Spring & Fall), and Modules II & III once a year. You must take Module I first before participating in II & III, however, you can take the other two in whatever order, as long as it is within the following calendar year. The completion and certification of Module I is only valid for one year - if you do not start II or III within a year, you must retake Module I.

Generally, we meet Friday eves (5:00-8:30pm) and full days Saturdays/Sundays (9:00-5:00pm). Exact times for each weekend provided in application approval package.
* Attendance is mandatory for all days; should student need to miss any sessions, s/he must obtain prior approval from both co-directors. If more than 2 days or a weekend are missed, may impact ability to graduate under this program.
** Guest faculty may be interchangeable between modules based on their individual travel schedule.

PREREQUISITES
- At least 2+ years of a personal yoga practice, or if less than 2 years, your yoga teacher's personal referral sent to info@rasayogacenter.com
- Must complete Rasa Teacher Training Application
- Sign the Rasa Teacher's Ethical Guidelines and Code of Conduct
COST
$2,700 upfront early bird for all 3 modules within a year, paid by March 9th
$1,050 for Module I; $925 each, for Modules II & III, paid by 30 days before
start of module, or
$1,100 for Module I, $950 each, for Modules II & III, paid by 1st day of training
Upon successful completion of all 3 modules, student will receive certificate to
submit to Yoga Alliance. Student sends certificate and his/her payment to
Yoga Alliance to register as a RYT. For more information on Yoga Alliance,

Registration fee: a $200 registration fee must be submitted with application, and is non-refundable unless the application is rejected.
Refund Policy: If it is determined after the training has commenced that a student is unable to complete the total training hours for that module for whatever reason, and less than half of the module has been completed, the student must forfeit the pro-rated used tuition plus an amount equal to the registration fee. No refunds are available if more than half of the training has been completed, however the student may receive a credit for the prorated amount of the remaining time towards the same module next year. In all cases, certificates are only awarded when each module and its requirements have been completed.

REQUIRED READING
The required reading for each module will be provided to students upon registration.

Rasa Center has two locations in Ashland and Medford, at the base of the beautiful foothills leading to the Oregon Cascades. We are a short distance from the historic town of Jacksonville, and the cities of Grants Pass and Klamath Falls. The nearest airport is in Medford.
