RYT300 Faculty:

Matthew Downard, eRYT-500
Program Director

Matthew Downard, has studied extensively, and continues to study extensively with Noah Maze in Hollywood, CA. Working along side, and in direct conversation with Noah, Matthew has developed a direct and impactful approach to teaching asana. Matthew’s teaching is very influenced by the Yogamaze curriculum, with its emphasis on anatomical alignment, subtle body actions, deliberate focus, and an all encompassing approach to the hatha yoga practices. His classes are clear, tangible, and focused, yet taught with a sense of humor and a light hearted approach.

“My hope as a teacher, is that the practices and teachings will bring more ease and support in maneuvering the unstable nature of this world. At the same time, I wish to support and educate students to becoming more skillful and impactful in the decisions they make, on and off the mat.”

Nichol Joy Chase, eRYT-500 (nicholchaseyoga.com)
