Mariane Berry is the founder and managing director of Rasa Yoga Center in Southern Oregon. She has trained and studied with Tias Little and Max Strom, and honors all her yoga teachers and influences such as Les Leventhal, Rod Stryker, Kristin Laak, the outdoors and her daughter, Malaya. Mariane has spent much of her life in the outdoors, mountain climbing, backpacking, skiing, kayaking – making the natural world her personal yoga studio. She has been practicing, studying and teaching yoga for over 12 years. Prior to Rasa Yoga Center, she worked in corporate finance for over 20 years, graduating from Seattle University; she has also spent 3 years in the nonprofit sector working tirelessly for organizations that championed the environment, education, and at-risk youth. Her collective experiences have helped inform her path of building and uplifting community, holding sacred the space for others, and being inspired by the infinite sea of potential in all things.
