imageYoga entered my life during 2008 while struggling to perform duties of a physically strenuous job.  I began to develop a home practice structured on healing my body through asana based Hatha Yoga.  My practice began to evolve, as my body healed it opened channels for new life to flow.  I expanded my practice from home to the studio where I began to find a deeper practice filled with pranayama, meditation and vinyasa yoga.  The shift had began as yoga provided me with the tools to navigate and grow towards my true self.  As my practice flourished the lens I viewed this experience with provided so much clarity.  Yoga brought me peace and contentment, opened my heart and broke down fearful structures that had held me prisoner for far to long!

In 2012 my dear friend/yoga intructor encouraged me to pursue a richer knowledge of yoga by enrolling in a teacher training program.  While traveling that Fall I was excepted into the Rasa Yoga Teacher Training Program.  I moved to the Rogue Valley that Fall and began schooling that March.  In November I graduated from the Rasa Yoga 200 Teacher Training Program!  I began teaching in Grants Pass in Feb. 2014 and began subbing at Rasa in April 2014.  In June I began teaching regularly at Rasa, teaching the Mon. and Wed. Flow All/2 class.  The classes I teach are an exploration of mind, body and spirit.  Mindful movement that we can embody!

The teaching process for me is an avenue to share my peace through yoga with others.  My dharma here is to give love to my community and facilitate growth in their lives.    When I am not teaching I love rock climbing, paddle boarding and hanging outdoors with my wife and dog.
