Born to the wilds of Arizona, Brienne early on came under the spell of yoga. At the age of seventeen, she moved to Oregon and spent the next six years expanding her yoga thirst through the ancient roots of Ashtanga Yoga.
During this time, she acquired two degrees in architecture, dutifully accompanied by her continued and deepening passion of yoga. With nearly two decades of practice, Brie now has seen her internal lotus blossom by formalizing her training with Tiffany Cruikshank where she attained her 200- hour registered Vinyasa Yoga teacher status.
More recently inspired by a profoundly therapeutic practice, she has expanded her education to include one Aerial Yoga teaching certification in internationally acclaimed Unnata® Aerial Yoga and another TYS Gentle Aerial Yoga teaching certification.
When she is not on the mat, Brienne operates Ashland-based wellness design firm, 2Yoke Design, and follows a mission to translate the pursuit of wellness into the built environment. Brienne actively seeks opportunities to unite her passions of design and yoga, specializing in optimized wellbeing through the creation of natural, earth-inspired and daylight-filled spaces. At Rasa, she is equally committed to sharing the art of yoga through heartfelt and breath-centered classes aimed to deepen the human experience of the present moment.
